I'm a TV producer with 15 years of experience developing and producing terrestrial, digital and cable TV programmes. I got my big break on The Big Breakfast in 1993 and went on to series produce Changing Rooms, Ready Steady Cook and Don’t Get Done Get Dom for BBC1. I have also developed, launched & headed up digital and mobile TV channels (London TV for Visit London and Today on 3 Live for 3 mobile) and produced all number of shows for L!VETV. Finding experts and new talent was always part of my job - and the inspiration for this site.
Five things you'd never guess from looking at my photo:
I got the idea for this business whilst cruising up the Canal du Medi on a barge in July 07!
I can't keep goldfish alive, which is very frustrating.
I found love on the internet.
I produced Topless Darts for L!VETV.
I have a real fear of death & dying.

Subjects I can comment on:
Going solo and setting up a business in your 40s. Making TV programmes. Life/career balance.
Projects I’m working on that could be of interest to TV and the media:
Setting up findatvexpert.com. I've never done anything like this before but I know it's going to work because it's what the industry needs and the experts want. I'm so convinced it's going to be a success that I turned down a 10 months TV contract last August to live off savings and get it off the ground. So please spread the word!
