I dropped out of college then landed a job at Covent Garden, then on to make puppets for Jim Henson's Creature Shop. I made costumes for Brazil and Time Bandits, Aslan the Lion for the BBC, then was chosen to make the 'Batsuit' for Tim Burton''s Batman films - and never looked back . I have just completed my first book and am starting another about working in my profession.
