Expert Overview With no rowing experience and no sea-going experience I first took to the oars in an ocean rowing boat in 2003. My mother was my rowing partner. We spent 105 days crossing the Atlantic becoming World Record breakers and raising £268,000 for charity. In 2005 I founded Rowgirls.com an all female rowing team to attempt the fastest crossing, but it turned into a battle for our lives. We started as a four but came back a three. I now speak about my adventures and I've written a book - Sally's Odd at Sea. I've faced shark attacks and an alarming lack of teabags, so if I can get through that I can get through anything.
