Expert Overview I was born in London and brought up in Yorkshire – and am known as ‘The Fit Chef’ to my friends. After leaving school I went to Leeds City College and gained a diploma in food science. Following a 4 year apprenticeship at the Dorchester Hotel, I became a touring chef with Luther Vandross, Toni Braxton and UB40. Sport and fitness always ran parallel to my passion for food (football, rugby, tennis, athletics, cricket & squash) so I combined the two. The Fit Chef concept – which I launched on the Carlton Food Network in 2000 is about eating healthy, yet sexy and exciting food.
